PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for optical transmission body, by which the single body of an optical transmission body having a very smooth end face can be formed with satisfactory productivity. SOLUTION: The method is implemented by stage for arranging a plurality of optical transmission bodies, a stage for applying a releasing agent on the surfaces of the optical transmission bodies, a stage for forming an optical transmission bodies assembly by fixing the plurality of optical transmission bodies to each other with an adhesive, a stage for smoothing the exposed end faces of the optical transmission bodies of the optical transmission bodies assembly and a stage for separating the optical transmission bodies from each other. |
