The inventive mirror support comprises a frame (10) which can be formed from mutually displaceable parts, and a lever (29) which is suspended on a bracket (28) with springs (30) and screws (33, 34), for adjusting the position so that the mirror can be aligned as required with a considerable degree of accuracy. The mirror is engaged with said lever and can be mounted on a revolving platform in order to adopt the desired angular position. The invention can be used for laser oscillating cavities since the position of the mirror can be very finely adjusted and fixed securely.
