<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read a scale even where and in whatever direction a spring hanger is installed. SOLUTION: A piston plate 4 is supported by a coil spring 5 inside a cylindrical spring hanger case 1. A hanger rod 6 supported by the piston plate 4 is suspended from the inside center of the case 1. A turnbuckle 7 is hung on the hanger rod 6, and a sling bolt, 12 is fixed on the lower end of the turnbuckle 7 and inserted into a piercing hole 10a on the bottom face of an index plate 10 from a lower part of the turnbuckle 7 for fixing it by a lock nut 11. A side face of the index plate 10 has the scale. An ear 8 weldingly connected on an upper cover 2 is connected at a load point such as a support beam, and the sling bolt 12 is fixed on the support structure side such as a piping. Accordingly, arranging position of side face of the index plate 10 having the scale can be optionally changed and then in daily checks, the scale on side face of the index plate 10 can easily be checked from optional directions for early detection of abnormality of the hanger and the support structure.</p> |
