SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ARTICLE SALES SETTLEMENT, PORTABLE TERMINAL, MENU SERVER, AND STORE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for article sales settlement, a portable terminal, a menu server, and a store terminal which can ease or eliminate congestion when orders are received at a store. SOLUTION: The menu server 200 stores menu information on articles sold at the store where the store terminal 300 is installed. The portable terminal 100 obtains the menu information from the menu server 200 through user's operation and saves order information of a user based upon the menu information in a noncontact IC card part 10. The store terminal 300 receives the order information stored in the noncontact IC card part 10 from the portable terminal 100 when the portable 100 is held over and pays for a bought article with the IC card part 10.
