PURPOSE: A kiosk terminal control and internet connection system is provided to install a LAN(Local Area Network) module at a kiosk terminal located at public places like an airport, an exhibition center or a hospital for offering internet information as well as specific purposed information. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a control server(10), a router(30), a LAN module and a hub(40). The control server(10) controls a plurality of kiosk terminals(50). The router(30) connects a LAN to the internet for making the kiosk terminals offer internet information. The LAN module, installed at the kiosk terminal(50), connects the terminal(50) to the LAN. The hub(40) connects the control server(10) and the router(30) to the kiosk terminals(50). The LAN module includes a RAM, a decoder, a ROM, a UART(Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) controller and a LAN controller. The UART controller makes the LAN module communicate data with a microprocessor of the kiosk terminal(50). The LAN controller makes the terminal(50) connect to the LAN. The ROM stores an internet browser program. The RAM stores input data. The decoder converts the stored data into RGB(Red Green Blue) type signals to display the RGB type signals on the kiosk terminal(50).
