PURPOSE: A carrier box is provided to facilitate a confirmation work of an amount of wafers received therein and the management of stocks thereof, and to prevent the damage of a box cover. CONSTITUTION: The carrier box(1) for transferring and storing cassettes receiving wafers comprises a body(2) having a receiving space of the cassettes; a cover(3) for covering the receiving space of the body; a fixing part attached to a connection between the body and cover; a display window(4) provided on the center region of the front surface of the body for allowing the confirmation of the cassettes; a bar code(5) attached at one side of the front surface of the cover for the classification of the carrier boxes; and a transparent lid installed at the center of the top surface of the cover.
