The circuit arrangement has a transistor (Q4) that has a collector through which the output current (Iout) flows. The output current is proportional to the reciprocal value of the input current (Iin) supplied through the input current terminal of a diode circuit comprising of two transistors (Q1,Q2) coupled in series. The transistor (Q4) has a base connected to the emitter of another transistor (Q3) and input current terminal of the diode circuit, and emitter connected to the input current terminal of the diode circuit and power supply source. The base of the other transistor (Q3) is coupled between the diode circuit and current source (21), while its collector is coupled between the current source and power supply source (22). The current source generates the current (10) for adjusting operating points.
