The present invention refers to an improved tube plate type heat exchanger or tube and plate type heat exchanger device, which acts exchanging heat between the environment (air) and the fluid that circulates inside the tube. The object of this invention is to provide a tube plate type heat exchanger that locates the tube in a C-shaped channel, and at the same time provide a mechanical fastening by means of edgings formed in the plate, working as a mechanical clip, covering at least 270° the perimeter of the exterior diameter of the tube, making this tube plate type heat exchanger more efficient than the ones currently existing on the market, due to a better tube fastening with the plate and a larger contact area among them. Due to a novel construction, whose main characteristic is gathering the advantages of the existent tube plate type heat exchangers but being more efficient and having a reduced number of components and assembly steps.
