PURPOSE: A method for coating the surface of a silicate substrate with high density of aminoethyl is provided, thereby giving different physicochemical properties to the silicate surface and uniformly fixing, on the silicate surface, various biomolecules including enzyme, protein, DNA, antibody, catalyst, etc. CONSTITUTION: The method for coating the surface of the silicate substrate with high density of aminoethyl is characterized by the reaction of silicate directly with aziridine or its derivatives, wherein the silicate substrate is a glass plate, a membrane, a tube, a bead, a multipore filter, a sphere and nano-powder; a hydroxyl group on the silicate surface directly reacts with aziridine or its derivatives; the reaction is carried out in a nonalcoholic solvent such as ether and ester at 50 deg. C or more; the reaction is activated by an acid catalyst. The biomolecules are fixed on the high density of an aminoethyl molecule layer through a linker molecule as an intermediate, wherein the linker molecule is a bifunctional linking agent.
