PURPOSE: An air spring for suspension of a bus is provided to improve the traveling experience by efficiently absorbing the shock due to the vibration, to maintain the shock absorbing function by suppressing the deformation of an air bag buffer, and to improve the durability and commercial value. CONSTITUTION: A specific space(33) is formed in a buffer member(30). An air bag buffer(32) having an air port(34) is prepared. The pressure of the air flowing into the space of the air bag buffer is variably adjusted by a regulator depending on the traveling state, the road condition, the number of passengers, and the loaded state of the freight. The elasticity rate of the air bag buffer is adjusted in proportion to the compressing and expanding force of an air bag(10). Thus, the shock due to vibration is absorbed efficiently.
