PURPOSE: A purchase information service system and method is provided to offer purchase information to a customer, visiting a goods selling store, via a mobile terminal over a wireless LAN(Local Area Network). CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a mobile terminal(10), a terminal recognizer(12) and a server(14). The mobile terminal(10) stores personal credit card data, and embeds a bluetooth chip for a wireless communication in the goods selling store. A terminal ID is allotted and periodically transmitted to the mobile terminal(10). The terminal recognizer(12), installed at an exit or an entrance of the goods selling store, enables a wireless LAN communication, and receives a terminal ID from the mobile terminal by using an embedded bluetooth chip when the customer passes through the exit or the entrance. Then the terminal recognizer(12) transmits the recognized terminal ID to the server(14). The server(14), if the terminal ID is transmitted by the terminal recognizer(12), can transmit purchase information to the mobile terminal where the purchase information includes discount information, gift information or each counter position information. The server(14) includes a database(14a) storing purchase history data of each customer. The database(14a) can offer customized purchase information to the customer via the mobile terminal(10). |
