PURPOSE: A chatting method using an image in a mobile communication terminal is provided to interestingly perform a chatting by displaying various images in real time according to the feelings state of a user in the chatting using the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a character is inputted in a character input window in a chatting mode(S101), it is judged whether the inputted character is a control message or a character message(S102). If the inputted character is the control message, the control message is a message for changing an image(S103). If the message is the image changing message, the image is changed and transmitted(S104). It is judged whether the control message is a new image upload message(S105). If the control message is the new image upload message, the image is changed to a new image photographed through a camera and the changed new image is transmitted(S106).
