PURPOSE: A method for controlling an access in a mobile communication terminal is provided to assign the same telephone number to one or more mobile communication terminals and selectively use desired one terminal among one or more mobile communication terminals. CONSTITUTION: If a power of a mobile communication terminal is turned on(S21), a base station transmits necessary control signal and information to the mobile communication terminal(S22). The mobile communication terminal transmits its ESN(Electrical Serial Number) to the base station(S23). The base station retrieves a telephone number used in the mobile communication terminal having the ESN and information of an other terminal using the same telephone number, and transmits the retrieved telephone number and information of the other terminal to the terminal. The terminal receives the retrieved telephone number and information of the other terminal(S24) and displays the received telephone number and information of the other terminal(S25). If a user continuously uses the terminal(S26), the terminal transmits a command for turning off the other terminal to the base station(S28). The terminal maintains a reception standby state for the connection of call while the terminal continuously accesses the base station(S29).
