PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a new function capable of dealing with diversified user's needs without impairing excellent portability, miniaturization and lightweight performance which are required as an essential function in a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: A non-telephone function is incorporated in a battery pack for portable telephone set, which is just a power source heretofore, in order to give the non-telephone function without impairing the portability of the telephone set. The various non-telephone functions incorporated in the detachable batter pack can be selected and diversified while reducing influence on a portable telephone set main body. For example, the function can be connected to an external equipment via a memory card.
