The invention relates to a self-adhesive film for fixing a floor covering, especially a carpet, having an own weight of more than 500 g/m2, to a floor, especially parquet or stairs. Said film comprises a carrier layer consisting of a plastic film which is coated with a contact adhesive on an upper surfac e facing the floor covering, and on a lower surface facing the floor or the stairs. Said film has a minimum breadth of 150 mm in order to be able to cov er a large area of the floor or stairs to be covered with the floor covering. T he contact adhesive is fixed to at least the lower surface of the carrier layer in such a way that it remains thereon when the self-adhesive film is removed . |
