Method to control the gas pressure for gasexpansion turbines

The method is applied to a regenerator (2) with a turbine (7) in the exhaust flue (4) driving a turbogenerator (7.1). A process regulator (17) opens the turbine inlet valves (8,9) and/or the bypass valves (11,12) or closes the latter, once with and once without the turbine being in operation. Settings for the valves are provided by function generators (23-27) and changeover relays (28,29). The rapid closure valve (9) operated by a rotational speed regulator (10) is effective only when the turbine is run-up to the synchronous speed of the turbogenerator.
