PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for a front passenger seat of a vehicle in which the rotation of a front passenger seat airbag module is prevented when an airbag is developed, and the airbag is correctly developed to an occupant in the front passenger seat. SOLUTION: One end 6a of a housing 6 of the airbag module 5 which is provided on the front passenger seat side of the vehicle and developed in a collision to protect the occupant is fitted to a vehicle body via an instrument panel frame 3, the other end 6b is fitted to the vehicle body 4 via a bracket 12 for preventing the airbag module from being turned forward of the vehicle and developed when the airbag module 5 is operated, the airbag module 5 is prevented from being turned forward by the reaction force when the airbag is developed, and the airbag is correctly developed in the direction of the occupant in the front passenger seat to protect the occupant. |
