PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trim product capable of preventing cracks, etc., in a butt-joined part of the trim product, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: This trim product has the butt-joined part 13 formed by butting terminal parts 12 of a long trim forming bodies 11 having an elastic long forming body 20 and a rigid core 30 to each other. The core 30 has a bone part 31 and a connection part 35 of the same shape alternately along the longitudinal direction of the forming body 20, and the bone part 31 and the connection part 35 form one pitch length. In a joining vicinity part including the butt-joined part 13 and a part in the vicinity thereof, the core 30 is removed with the connection part 35 as a boundary, and the length of the joining vicinity part having no core 30 is set to be not less than one pitch and not more than four pitches. The substantial expansion/elongation of the joining vicinity part having no core 30 is permitted to be larger than that of other parts. |
