PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling vehicle having a vehicle body jack-up device allowing easy repairing or checking of wheels. SOLUTION: The elevating/lowering vehicle 1 has a leg 34 capable of lifting a vehicle body on rear wheels 8 and 8 side or front wheels 7 and 7 side by turning the respective wheels in the backward direction when the front wheels are brought into contact with the ground, or in the forward direction when the rear wheels are brought into contact with the ground with one end of the leg turnably fitting to the vicinity of a rear wheel axle 8a or a front wheel axle 7a below the vehicle body 2, and with the other end part brought into contact with the ground when the leg is used. The traveling vehicle 1 can be jacked up in a paddy field, etc., by a simple method, the wheel can be easily checked and maintained, and mud and dirt adhered to tires can be removed by idling the tires of the front wheel 7 or the rear wheel 8.
