PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven vehicle capable of making a tight turn circle and having high maneuverability. SOLUTION: Universal wheels 6 are fitted to tips of legs 5 projected radially from a cylindrical ball storing part 4, both upper and lower surfaces of which are opened, a number of ball receiving rollers 8 are annularly provided along the inner peripheral surface of the ball storing part 4, and balls 7 as driving wheels are rotatably held thereon to constitute a truck 3. A rotary seat 15 with a seat part 30 is supported on the ball storing part 4 to freely rotate round the axis of a vertical shaft passing the center of the ball 7, and a driving unit 50 having a driving roller 51 whose peripheral surface is brought into contact with the balls 7 right from above and a running motor 52 for rotating the roller is rotatably supported on the rotary seat 15. The rotary seat 15 is rotated by the moving force of a motor 81 itself fitted with a planetary rubber roller 83 and turned in the direction, and the driving unit 50 is rotated by a motor 71 to change the running direction. Accordingly, a space larger than the flat surface size of the car body is hardly required for changing the direction of the seat and the running direction so that most tight turn circle can be made and transverse running is enabled. |
