INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE THROTTLE VALVE POSITION CHECKING DEVICE

FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle engine control systems. Said device consists of throttle valve installed in housing 2 on shaft of throttle valve coupled with position pickup 4 and drive lever 5 on which adjusting screw 6 is installed. Device is furnished with idle pushbutton switch 8 with pushbutton 7 installed on boss of housing 2. Pushbutton 7 of switch 8 is operated by end of adjusting screw 6. Device operates as follows: idling is set when end of adjusting screw 6 presses on pushbutton 7 of idle switch 8. Generated pulse is compared by control system with current signal from position pickup 4 which is considered as initial reference pointed when determining degree of opening of throttle valve. So initial reference point is continuously corrected which makes it possible to determine position of throttle valve with high degree of accuracy. EFFECT: provision of stable operation of automobile engine at all duties. 1 dwg
