PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program-receiving method where a broadcast program can be received continuously, when moving from a reception enable region of radio waves, radiating from a radio station or a relay station to a reception enabled region of radio waves radiated from another relay station, when the broadcast program is received by using a portable program receiver. SOLUTION: In the program receiving method of a program receiver for receiving a program, a program-receiving method is adopted. The method is provided with a position information obtaining step for obtaining position information as information, showing the position of the program receiver, a program identifier accepting step for accepting program identifier which identifies programs, a channel-determining step which determines the channel number to be selected, on the basis of stored program information of each region, position information obtained by the position information obtaining step and program identifier accepted by the program identifier accepting step, and a program receiving step for receiving the program of a channel, which is identified by a channel number decided by the channel-determining step.
