PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a piezoelectric vibrator that has enhanced supporting and fixing strength of a vibrator raw material plate contained in a small-sized package of the piezoelectric vibrator. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the piezoelectric vibrator where the piezoelectric vibrator forming an exciting electrode on the major side of the vibrator raw material plate is supported in a cantilever form on a substrate by using a joining member, includes processes that the joining member is placed to an electrode extract part of the vibrator raw material plate, the vibrator raw material plate is mounted on the substrate, and the joining member is cured.
