A nutritional supplement is produced from a combination of partially deoiled amazonia Bertholletia excelsa nut powder, papaya and tomato comprises premixing the papaya and tomato with 0.5% of the nut powder for 5 minutes and then mixing in the rest of the nut powder for 15 minutes. Production of a nutritional supplement from a combination of partially deoiled amazonia nut powder, papaya and tomato comprises: (1) premixing the papaya and tomato with 0.5% of the nut powder in a Gonard mixer with a capacity of up to 2 m<3> for 5 minutes; (2) mixing the premix with the rest of the nut powder for 15 minutes; and (3) packaging the product is oxygen-tight packages. An Independent claim is also included for a nutritional supplement comprising partially deoiled amazonia nuts (90%), tomato (1%), acerola (5%) and cocoa (4%), providing (per 10 g): 530 mg glutamine, 159 mg methionine, 82 mg tyrosine, 18 mg phenylalaninem 59 mg vitamin C, 76 mg magnesium, 66 mu g selenium and 160 mu g lycopene. |
