<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parts mounting method in the form of mounting a hybrid integrated circuit mounted on a sub-board replacing a custom hybrid IC on a main board and a multi-pin connector using same. SOLUTION: The multi-pin connector for mounting on a sub-board 10 is a multi-pin connector for pin-connecting sub-boards in a given interval on a main board, and it is so structured that a plurality of number of lead pins 1 are arrayed in 2 rows in a given pitch p (the pitch interval between the rows being around 2.5 mm) in parallel on the top face a and a bottom face b of a strip plastic insulating board 3 of the thickness of t1=1 mm to 10 mm so as to protrude vertically upward by the length h1 (h1<=t2) from the top face a within the thickness t2 of the sub-board and to protrude vertically downward from the bottom face b by the length h2 (h2>=t3) exceeding the thickness t3 of the main board. The connector is soldered in reflow soldering together with parts of a hybrid integrated circuit inserted into a connector through-hole at the back face of the sub-board, and mounted by dip-soldering together with the parts at the back face inserted into the through-hole on the surface of the main board.</p> |
