PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring design system for enabling each client easily and immediately to retrieve a coil spring, also to know an estimate, and to order the coil spring on the Internet in the case of ordering the coil spring published on a catalog and further to immediately decide a specification of a coil spring to know an estimate and to evaluate the durability of the coil spring even in the case of ordering the coil spring unpublished on the catalog. SOLUTION: This coil spring design system is provided with a torsion coil calculating part 2 for performing spring calculation of a coil spring on the basis of the specification data of the coil spring and outputting item data composed of this characteristic value, a spring characteristic database 5 storing decision data for deciding whether or not the item data including the obtained characteristic value of the coil spring are appropriate to a requested specification, and a server 1 for deciding whether or not the specification data are appropriate as data of the coil spring according to calculation results and the decision data and outputting decision results. |
