PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication system capable of continuing a file transmission processing even when an abnormality is caused in halfway of file transmission. SOLUTION: The data transmission system is provided with a transmitter 10 to transmit the file via networks 91, 92, 93, a receiver 70 to receive the file and a plurality of file servers 40A to 40D to repeat file transmission/ reception between the transmitter and the receiver. The transmitter is provided with a receiver specifying means to specify the receiver to which the file is transmitted, a file transmitting means to transmit the file to the selected file server, a retransmitting means to interrupt transmission of the file when the abnormality is caused in halfway of the file transmission, to select another file server from the plurality of file servers and to transmit the file to the file server and an address informing means to inform the receiver of address information of the file server to which the file is transmitted. |
