PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a font of characters that the user oneself handwrites, to obtain font characters of sufficient sizes, and to enable the person who enters the characters to obtain the font characters of intended sizes. SOLUTION: A device is equipped with a 1st rectangular frame image cutting means which cuts an image out of a 1st rectangular frame, a 2nd rectangular frame erasing means which erases a 2nd rectangular frame, a character circumscribed rectangle applying means which applies a character frame circumscribed with a character part, a character enlargement rate calculating means which calculates the enlargement rate of the character part, a character enlarging means which compares the maximum enlargement rate calculated from the size of the 1st rectangular frame and the size of the 2nd rectangular frame with the enlargement rate and enlarges the character part according to a larger value, and a font data generating means which generates a handwritten character font composed of handwritten characters from images having been enlarged. |
