<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fluctuations in rotational torque and occurrence of abnormal noise and the like. SOLUTION: The cable reel has a guide means that supports a plurality of rollers spaced out inside a C-shaped ring member and which is placed in a hollow ring formed of a fixed part and a moving part; multiple flat cables with one end secured to the moving part and the other end secured to the fixed part are wound on the cable reel so that the direction is reversed, at the reversing passage between the two ends of the guide means, from the inner passage formed between the inner cylinder section and the guide means to the outer passage formed between the outer cylinder section and the guide means. The length of each flat cable is set so that, at a middle position where the length of the flat cable wound in the inner passage is roughly the same as the length of the flat cable wound in the outer passage, the distance between the vertices of the reversed section of adjacent flat cable s is d/2 toπd/4 (d = diameter of reversed section).</p> |
