PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of restraining the misalignment between the rotary shaft and worm shaft to the utmost in the motor of which the rotary shaft of an armature is coupled with the worm shaft through a coupling means as well as suppressing the occurrence of noises and vibrations from the coupling means caused by the misalignment. SOLUTION: A positioning means consisting of a positioning hole 9d and a positioning protrusion 21n is disposed in between a brush holder 9 which supports the rotary shaft 6 and a gear housing 21 which supports the worm shaft 23, and the direct positioning between the brush holder 9 and the gear housing 21 is carried out so as to reduce the totalling axial error between the rotary shaft 6 and worm shaft 23, thereby suppressing the misalignment therebetween as much as possible.
