A locking mechanism for rotatably interconnecting adjacent ends of frame components including a manually movable externally splined locking pin (21) which in its locked position engages splined portions of aligned splined holes (17, 20) in the ends of frame components thereby locking the components against rotations. The mechanism also allows adjustment of the components.
