This invention pertains to a method of selecting content for a customer from a database corresponding to preference information and a profile collected from the customer. The on-line server selects media information according to a user's preferences and is able to compile an electronic newsletter to publish on a network like e.g. the Internet comprising information like advertisements, photographs, videos, audio or visual arts objects. Users may subscribe to that newsletter to get special promotional offers.
