<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine which can make friction contact parts oilless and enables the reduction of manufacturing load and weight. SOLUTION: Friction surfaces which come into contact, under friction, with the sewing machine 10, and make sliding movement and rotating movement at a high speed under high load are constituted by using rice bran ceramics. For example, a bearing 100 relating to a shaft and bearing constituting the drive section of the sewing machine 1 is formed as a bearing formed by fitting and fixing pushing-like molded articles 102 consisting of the rice bran ceramics into a housing member 101 which constitute the outer frame of the bearing 100 and consists of metal. According to the constitution described above, the inside surfaces 102A which are the friction surfaces of the flanks of the shaft and the bearing 100 are formed of the rice bran ceramics having a small coefficient of friction, by which these parts may be made oilless.</p> |
