PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballpoint pen having ink flow-out requirements for effectively satisfying a handwriting performance and an eraser erasability in the ballpoint pen using an eraser erasable ink containing adhesive particles as an indispensable component. SOLUTION: An eraser erasable water base ink ballpoint pen comprises an eraser erasable water base ink containing the adhesive resin particles occupying 80 wt.% or more as the indispensable component dispersed in an aqueous medium in such a manner that a particle size distribution is a range of 2 to 10 μm, the eraser erasable water base ink having a viscosity of 5 to 160 mPa.s [a measured value (25 deg.C) at 100 rpm by an EMD type viscometer] is filled in the barrel, and an ink consumption amount per 100 m of a writing distance is 80 to 150 mg per 0.1 mm of handwriting width.
