PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nylon pile for a mop, dyed so as not to be discolored under a severe washing condition. SOLUTION: This nylon pile usable for the mop is characterized in that the nylon pile is dyed by a prescribed acid dye, and the acid dye is one or more kinds arbitrarily selected from the dyes having C. I. numbers of Acid blue 40, Acid blue 62, Acid blue 221, Acid blue 227 and Acid red 151.
