INCLINATION ANGLE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination angle detector hardly causing a malfunction due to an external vibration. SOLUTION: This detector comprises at least a pipe 1 having a substantially U-shaped lower part; a magnetic fluid 14 injected to the pipe 11 so that the level reaches substantially the vertically middle height of the pipe 11; lateral coils 13 wound on the pipe 11 so as to enclose the circumference of the level of the magnetic fluid 14 in substantially symmetric positions of the pipe 11; a means for applying an AC signal to the lateral coils 13; and a detecting means for detecting the displacement of the magnetic fluid 14 in the pipe 11 as a change of self-inductance of the lateral coils 13 when laterally inclining the pipe 11 to detect the inclination angle.
