PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the capabilities of carrying in/out and sequentially retrieving commodities. SOLUTION: After commodities are carried in, storage and retrieval dollies provided corresponding to shelf stages store a plurality of commodities in package into the shelf stages. When retrieval request is given in a predetermined retrieval request order, the commodities are picked out of the shelf stages in the state of being aligned in a predetermined stage alignment order by the storage and retrieval dollies and transferred to temporary retrieval placement parts, as kept in the stage alignment order.
