摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a mass production glow plug of a low cost and to make a way of connecting the glow plug not require to switch in startup and in operation in a glow plug energizing control device used for pre-heating device of a diesel engine and controlling energizing of the glow plug in startup also in operation. SOLUTION: A low cost mass production glow plug 5 for a vehicle is used and is connected in parallel. Voltage of a battery 1 is applied to the same for pre-heating in startup. In operation, a controller 7 judges if the engine is under a bad combustion condition or not based on detection signals from a engine speed sensor 11 and, an exhaust gas temperature sensor 12. If it is judged that the engine is under a bad combustion condition voltage at a neutral point N of an alternator 20 3754/24}half of battery voltage) is applied to the glow plug 5 to raise temperature of a combustion chamber. Since it is not necessary to connect the glow plug 5 selectably in series or in parallel, a structure of a circuit is simple.
