PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a aiming position of a welding wire coming out from the tip of a welding tip. SOLUTION: In a bobbin on which the welding wire is wound from an inner layer to an outer layer in order while giving a twist to the welding wire, the relationship between an outer diameter D (mm) of the barrel of the bobbin and a tensile breaking strength of the wire T (N) fulfills D>=0.19 T. Between the tensile breaking strength and the outer diameter of the barrel of the bobbin, a relationship exists that the aiming position for the welding wire coming out from the tip of the welding tip is stabilized, and by setting the relationship as stated above, the aiming position of the welding wire coming out from the tip of the welding tip can be made to maintain stabilization.
