An angle section reinforces the finishing coat of rendering applied to corners in building construction. To each intersecting surface of the angle, a reinforcing mat is connected, which projects outwardly beyond the angle section edges. The angle section (11) is weldable plastic (14), and the mat is impregnated with compatible material, allowing them to be welded together. Preferably, welding is carried out ultrasonically and is spot- or linear welding. The plastic being a polyolefin, e.g. polystyrene. Welding is internal or external to the angle, and the external intersection of the angle may include an extended edge. |
