<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide warehouse facilities for reducing cost by eliminating setters from commodity storage facilities and for inputting required operation data for the commodity storage facilities when requiring a remote operation mode. SOLUTION: A photo transceiver 12' is provided in each commodity storage facility S' for transmitting setting information for storage and retrieval of commodities to a control device CC for a stacker crane, an operation box 31 is connected to the photo-transceiver 12' and a handy setter H is provided for inputting the setting information to the photo transceiver 12' via the operation box 31. In this construction, the handy setter H is used for inputting the operation data to the photo transceiver 12' when requiring the remote operation mode, permitting the storage and retrieval of the commodities with the stacker crane and the common use of the handy setter H in each commodity storage facility FS' and thus producing a reduction in cost.</p> |
