PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charcoal package without making it necessary to previously break charcoal, excellent in ignitionability and capable of keeping desired duration of burning. SOLUTION: This charcoal package comprises a frame body having a space for housing crushed charcoal in the interior and composed of an inflammable plate material providing an ignition hole in which combustion air flows in the lower part of the sidewall, an inflammable packaging sheet packaging opened lower surface and outside surface of the frame body and housing crushed charcoal in the interior and then folded so as to readily carry at the upper part of the frame body and an ignition piece attached to the packaging sheet of part corresponding to ignition hole of the frame body. In the charcoal package, charcoal previously crushed into adequate size can be packed in an amount minimally necessary for carrying out barbecue into the space of the interior of the frame body. As a result, labor for crushing the charcoal in a readily ignitable size can be saved and it is made unnecessary to directly handle the charcoal with hands to prevent hands from staining due to the charcoal. Further, since the charcoal is piled up in the space for housing the charcoal while keeping adequate space, ignition of charcoal is readily carried out and fire power after ignition is adequately kept.
