PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high density conjugated fiber suitable for fishing net, especially for a fenced net of a fixed shore net having high strength and high specific gravity together with an excellent tone of color without an unevenness of a color in the fishnet. SOLUTION: This high density conjugated fiber for fishing net comprises a sheath part composed of a thermoplastic polymer or a thermoplastic polymer composition and a core part composed of a thermoplastic polymer composition at least containing 12 to 80 wt.% of an inorganic material having high specific gravity, has the weight ratio of sheath/core of 9-91 to 60/40, specific gravity >=1.45, strength >=3.5 cN/dt, a-value >=10, b-value >=10. The fishing net comprises the high-density conjugated fiber.
