INTERLACE RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting a variety of recording patterns corresponding to papers and printing modes in an interlace recording method. SOLUTION: A data 6 for interlace recording in which an output data 4 is rearranged on the basis of a recording pattern matrix 5 having an interlace recording pattern defined, and the recording pattern matrix 5 are transmitted to a recorder which records by relatively moving in a horizontal scanning direction, a recording head having a plurality of recording elements arranged in a vertical scanning direction to a recording medium. The recorder records by setting the data 6 for interlace recording to the recording elements on the basis of the recording pattern matrix 5.
