PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugate polyester fiber having mechanical strength usable for industrial applications even using reclaimed polyester and excellent in fiber manufacturing stability. SOLUTION: This conjugate polyester fiber is obtained by conjugating a raw material polyester of IV>=0.80 with a polyester containing reclaimed polyester to form a sheath-core structure.
