PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic shovel also used for the crane work capable of immediately grasping a dangerous condition generated in a work machine or a vehicle body while an operator is performing the crane work, and capable of stably and immediately performing the work. SOLUTION: The hydraulic shovel also used for the crane work comprises a work machine with a boom, an arm, a bucket and a hook for performing the crane work, and also has a monitoring device with a monitor screen 44. The monitor screen 44 has a parameter display part 51 for displaying the parameter concerning the rated load factor and a warning information display part 53 for displaying the warning information in performing the crane work. Plural display items of the warning information display part 53 can be selected one by one to be displayed. When the rated load factor is in a dangerous range, the color of the parameter display part 51 becomes a warning color.
