PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire of an Al alloy superior in corrosion resistance, suitable for an overhead transmission line and a feeder for railway, and to provide a composite electric wire using the Al alloy for the outermost layer. SOLUTION: The electric wire 1 of the anti-corrosion Al alloy includes Ti 0.15-0.4 mass%; or Ti 0.15-0.4 mass%, and one or more of Cr, V, and Zr, 0.03-0.15 mass% in total; or Ti 0.15-0.4 mass%, one or more of Cr, V, and Zr, 0.03-0.15 mass% in total, and Be 0.01 mass% or less (excluding 0 mass%). The anti-corrosion composite electric wire employs the above Al alloy, for the outermost layer of a core material of an Al wire or a composite wire. The wire has superior wire drawing property and corrosion resistance due to an appropriate amount of Ti included in the alloy. The corrosion resistance is improved by increasing the solid solution amount of Ti.
