PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing mushrooms, with which a medium composition is simplified by artificially culturing mushrooms using a carrier inert to medium components and mushrooms without using a lignocellulose substance such as broadleaf tree, needle-leaf tree, corn cob, etc., being a medium carrier in a mushroom bed culture of mushrooms, instability of qualities found in sawdust, etc., is eliminated, instability of raw material supply is eliminated, resources are saved by enabling the reuse of the carrier and an environmental loading is lightened by reduction in waste production. SOLUTION: In this method for culturing mushrooms, a spherical minute molding comprising medium components as a nutrient, water, a mycelium and a mushroom carrier and an inorganic substance or a plastic inert to mushrooms is used in aritificially culturing mushrooms.
