PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for exterminating insect pests, which reduces the number of parts such as fans, pressure adjustment means, etc., is compacted, miniaturized and prevents corrosion of an electronic circuit part, etc., due to leakage of evaporated mist into the inside of a box body while enhancing the maintainability of an evaporation means. SOLUTION: This apparatus for exterminating insect pests is equipped with a liquid chemical container 11 charged with a liquid chemical arranged in the box body 2, a pump 21 for sucking the liquid chemical in the liquid chemical container through a suction pipe 13 inserted through a stopper part 12 of the liquid chemical container, a valve part 15 arranged at a through hole 14 formed on the stopper part of the liquid chemical container, a duct 31 piped from the rear wall of the box body to a discharge opening installed at the upper part of the front wall, a fan 35 for open air inhalation arranged in a opening part at the rear end of the duct and an evaporation unit to be movably attached from an installation hole formed at the front wall part of the box body to the inside and the outside of the box body. A ventilation part 32 which communicates with the inside of the evaporation unit and introduces a part of introduced air from a fan to the evaporation unit is arranged at a proper place of the front of the duct.
