<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve waste gas treatment capability, prevent the generation of powder dust from a packed column, and make activated carbon reusable by properly and easily carrying out replacement of activated carbon. SOLUTION: In the packed column 8 for removing harmful substances which is installed in a waste gas flow line 1 of waste treatment facilities, a mesh floor 14 formed in a casing 11 diagonally crossing the inside of the casing 11 from a throwing inlet in an upper part to a discharging outlet 13 in a lower part and packing spaces in the mesh floor 14 are filled with activated carbon C.</p> |
